From Training to Action: STCU Demonstrates CBRN Tools at EU CoE Event

The Science and Technology Center in Ukraine (STCU) participated in the 10th International Meeting of National Focal Points of the EU CBRN Risk Mitigation Centres of Excellence (CoE) Initiative, held on May 14–15 in Brussels, Belgium. This special edition of the meeting marked the 15th anniversary of the CoE Initiative, celebrating a decade and a half of global collaboration in strengthening Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) risk mitigation.
A key highlight of STCU’s involvement was a joint presentation with the International Science and Technology Center (ISTC) on the CBRN Medical Response project. The two Centers also conducted a live demonstration exercise, showcasing key technologies and practical tools used during project training sessions. This hands-on display illustrated effective approaches to medical preparedness and response in CBRN-related emergencies, as applied in the participating countries.
