Fact Finding Visit to Georgia

On 16/11/2021, P88 Team Leader Mr. Andrew Proudlove and P88 Key Clinical Expert Dr Mark Salter carried out the first Fact Finding Visit to Tbilisi, Georgia. The mission letter is at Annex A. The attendance list is at Annex B. The Country Report and Assessment is at Annex C.
The P88 Team spent the day at the Emergency Management Training Facility, Emergency Situations Coordination and Urgent Assistance Center (ESC&UAC), Aghmashenebeli Avenue, Tbilisi. The P88 team were given a guided tour of the ESC & UAC by Director, Dr. Aleksandre Kalandia and were briefed on its capabilities and resources. The P88 Team then gave a briefing on the key aims of Project 88 including a fully equipped CBRN Emergency Medicine Training Centre (CBRNEMTC) and the training of a small group of Master Trainers who would run national CBRNEM Training Courses in the future.
